A Scotsman and his wife walked past a posh restaurant, the wife said that food smells Delicious,
 The Scotsman says,what the hell, I'll treat her,
So he walked her past it again :

It's a funny 'ol world.

If it had been a Muslim, a Jew, and Ethiopian etc it would have been a racist joke. But, as it's a Scotsman, it's OK.

Yeah I know mate. But there's always someone who has to be outraged on my behalf or on behalf of the people that have been apparently abused.

Someone put a joke on about Paddy last week...It stereotypical that Scotsmen are mean, the Irish are thick and the Weish love their sheep.... However,  it's old hat now and I think most of us have moved on.

I think the difference is that the Scottish quietly take pride in the idea that they are thought of as tight. As an organiser of charity fundraisers on here I can confirm they are anything but; they just don't make a big thing of their generosity

I would agree that the jokes section probably isn't the best place for the easily offended
