Title: IOS 7 - A bit weird ?
Post by: Rimms on September 20, 2013, 17:21:20 PM
Any Apple users tried it yet, I think the day glow colours make it look like a children's toy? There are some nice features but for the very first time, I have to say that it's the least intuitive piece of Apple interface ever. I hope time proves me wrong.

I downloaded it on the iPad yesterday, a bit in your face to start with but it's starting to grow on me. Currently downloading it to the iPhone but apparently it will take 4 hours and needs 29GB of storage space so I had to unload a lot of stuff before it would start. Mind you, 4 hours is rather optimistic wit our internet speed of 0.6mbps so I think it might be there by tomorrow, hopefully :-\ 8)

I think it's great, the UI feels more slick and up to date. I agree the icons do feel a little children's nursery but for me the new clean look and functionality works

I was trying to get my head around that bit,  29gb ? I am sat here puzzling how I can do that when my phone is only 32gb
It's a relief to see Stoop point out its a typo !

Apple's new iOS 7 software is just days old, but already the electronics giant is having to swat bugs away from it.
Earlier this week a user posted a video showing how it was possible to sidestep the passcode security system and gain access to the photo gallery. Now someone has discovered that calls can be made on a locked phone by simply pressing one of the buttons lots of times.

I know I'll regret saying, but I have had no problems at all with it - a bit of a shock seeing it at first but no crashes, slow downs or bugs whatsoever here.
