Can anyone tell me why when talking about Turkish lira they put
ytl but if you go to any currency calculator they say try ????

They put try for any currency not just ytl - don't they. If you went and bought euros it would say try.......

YTL stands for yeni turkce lira (new turkish lira). the currency changed about 2 years ago when they got rid of all the zeros. 1YTL used to be  1 million lira in old Turkish money.

No all the rest are what they are i.e.euros is euros three different sites have it that way ,also three i went to did not list Turkish at all ?? whys that then.

I use xe.com and found them pretty reliable.
