Is it true what it says in the booklet" living in Fethiye " that when you manage to get a line the engineer only brings the line to the building, an electrician has to be brought in to actually wire up the phone inside, it wouldn't be allowed in England, i also know things are done differently in Turkey, but a normal phone doesn't have any electrical wires in it, does it? unless it's a cordless one and then you can't use them in a power cut, and we have a few of them don't we. yup, that's how it is.
Unless you are right in the centre of things with an existing junction box feeding closely.   The Telecom only give yo a line to the nearest junction box belonging to them.
