In 1999 my hubby and i went to icemeler, our first taste of Turkey, and fell in love with Turkey. We went to marmaris for one night and both vowed never again! Yes the scenery was just as stunning but it was just too much. Yes its a shame that many people are put off going to Turkey because they usually end up in marmaris but then again do people really want calis to become too commercialised?
