60's and 70's night

Annas on the seafront are putting on a 60's 70's night next Friday 24th April with music by Derek.

Tickets are on sale from Annas Bar or Karens Cards at 10tl each, which includes meze, grilled meatballs & chicken chips and salad.

Part of the proceeds of the night will go to the animal shelter.

There will also be a prize for best costume:D

l don't think that the above quote has much to do with us, the idea is for a knees up with good music & tickets are being sold for that purpose.  As far as i know this is not a charity function, if i am wrong, no doubt i will be corrected.  lf the organisers wish to donate some cash some where, then thats a good thought, however, i think it is a bit risky for them to answer a question like that in advance before the event.  As we all know, you have to cover your costs first, then you can consider giving cash away.  Thats business.  Been there, done it, got the 'T' shirt.

You are correct Snowtop, which ever part they donate we will say thank you. There may well be some other fund raisng activities going on during the night that will go direct to the cause so bring some loose change

Also the official start time is 7.30pm

Rusty my Ginger Tom says any money raised for the animal shelter has to be a good thing even if it's only 1 lira!! So come on down and support a different cause.  Any requests for music by the way can be left here or at Karenz card shop and Rusty will do his best to find them.
