The new rates of Motor Tax have been published for 2010. At the moment only rates for cars between 1 & 3 years old are available from the website http://www.muhasebenet.net/2010%20vergi%20rakamlari%20-%20yeniden%20degerleme%20oranina%20gore.html

The first price is the 2009 rate and the second the 2010 one.

The percentage shown is the increase on 2009 rates.

Very interesting. However, as my car is a 1900cc and three years old, I did not pay the 2009 price quoted let alone the new price.
Can someone confirm?

Have been told that fees in general are going up by about 2.5%

Using the Bodrum Bulletin's 2009 Vehicle Tax Caculator and adding 2.5% it comes to 1,746 TL for a 2007 Kamyonet with a 2.5 litre engine.

These prices are confusing this year I paid two instalments 478tl and 473 tl for a Citroen Berlingo 2 litre 2006 not what is showing for the 2009 prices,as anyone any more information.

Mark, I think a Citroen Berlingo is classed for tax purposes as a Panel Van so it won't be included in the car tax prices above. For 2010 though I think they're included in the class " Otomobil, kaptikaçti, arazi tasiti"

If those figures are right, then my tax has dropped.

Last year 2 x 473

I think the Berlingo is classed as a Kamyonet the same as the Doblo.
