From personal experience:

1: Stefan tried to increase the quoted price the day before he was due to collect my stuff.

2: He refused to show any kind of insurance to cover my goods whilst in his care.

3: He emailed me saying that if anything got confiscated at the border all his customers on that run would be liable to pay a % of the bribe to the customs officer.

As someone said above, you pays your money & takes your chances.

So the above is an illegal operation and why would you pay a bribe if the goods were confiscated anyway?
My advice to anyone thinking of doing this, being the shipper or shippee.....DONT!

Yep, I agree with Starman. If you give anyone your possessions to carry under those terms you might just as well put them straight on a bonfire and save the cost and hassle.
