The man who made the threat to drop me in it with the TAX man for renting our property to him for two weeks - because he got upset about something on here.

I called his bluff due to the fact we hardly ever rent it out (this was the first and last time to a stranger) and our costs have always been far more than our income. It was sort of reverse kama that he got stranded for two days due to the site flooding  

In the end he apologised and blamed Scunner

Another couple just popped into my mind. Does anyone remember Shaun and Sharon - youngish couple (to have retired anyway) who had a place in the Akarca area - she was lovely and he was a strapping big fella with some sort of metabolism defect and if they were walking a fair distance (like into Fethiye)  he would have to bring a backpack full of banana sandwiches to get him through the journey.

That sounds like I made it up - it's true!

They returned to the UK in around 2005.
