New Park Is Opening On 26th July

Hi all,

So is this open now as coming out 1st August for 2 weeks of sun sun sun and gorgeous food and a few tipples along the way, and if open will more than likely pop over to see what`s what sure the Grandson will have fun:

Yes Andy, as far as I know it's fully open now and from the photos I've seen it looks brilliant. We'll definitely be having a sneaky look when we're out in October!

Went to the opening last night as the park is only a few minutes walk from where I live Words almost fail  me for a change. It truly is remarkable what they have achieved and it must be every child's dream place .Be prepared to walk a long way as it is huge and filled with so many  beautiful and interesting features Well worth a visit and actually think they should run boat trips from Fethiye to the park as I think it will attract many visitors. If you have children it will keep them amused for hours .I am sure I will visit many times .

It would be good if they could re-introduce the little train/tractor that was trialled on Calis front a few years ago. Imagine being able to pick it up Fethiye side possibly using the blue road.

It really is a triumph. Been twice now and love it.

The children we have seen and taken think it is wonderful.

I can't wait for all the planting to mature. A real asset to the Fethiye area.

The Sehit Fethi Bey Park has now picked up an award for 'most successful municipal park' at an awards ceremony in Istanbul. Mayor Saatci was there to pick up the award.
