Title: Any new places opened this season?

Coming to Calis in just over a week and looking for some positive  news . If there are changes , any reviews appreciated .

Mangal - now Mangal House has been refurbished and is excellent value for money.  :)

Thanks for the info. Never  tried the old place but will certainly  give the new look Mangal a go

Agree fully that Mangal house is not just value for money but also excellent food, also worth trying out charcoal mangal (near duck pond across Rd down side street from mangal house) as people rave about there fish & chips (owner used to have a chippie in Scotland) , I loved the mixed grill there.

The Mangol Restaurant is excellent and the cocktails the best, owned by Husband and wife team and staff from the old Berlik Bar at Koca Calis. Its not the Mangol on the corner but on main drag near cash machines.  Food is excellent and great prices.

Also the new Curry Palace above beach house, went there for a party and then again, excellent service and the waiter so helpful and best Curry we had had for a long time.

Cant wait till October to go back and revisit.

I must concur with "H" Mangal house is excellent, so are the host's Osman & Amy   :)

Mangal was always a firm favourite of ours, never had a bad meal and traditionally our first and last meal of the holiday! Do they still do the lovely chicken donor wraps that the 'take away' part used to do? Loved them for a quick lunch sometimes. 9 more working days to go. So excited!!!   :D :D

Couldn't say still do as never really used Mangal that much until Aprils & julys  hols this year but the wife loved her chicken wrap (lamb for me) there on these 2 visits & we will certainly be going there again in September, 3 working days to go
