Tried the sunday roast at Marias in Calis but was not impressed. My husband had the Lamb roast and you couldnt call it meat as it was just fat. He couldnt eat it and complained. His plate was taken away by a woman with a face like thunder and all the fat was cut off which just left a very small amount of meat so he was given a small plate with extra meat on. We payed the bill and when the change was given to us it was 10 lira short so my husband asked where his 10 lira was and an english woman (dont know if it was Maria) said...ssssh just a minuet the tax man is in so i cant give you the 10 lira just yet...its on top of the till and i will give it to you when he has gone! What has that got to do with me getting my change
I dont need to worry about the tax man..I'm on holiday with my family!!!
eventually I got the 10 lira change. Will we eat at Marias again > definitely NOT!
