Title: Hotel recommendation
Post by: Jenny1 on March 18, 2010, 07:13:02 AM
Right, after coming to Turkey on my own for absolutley ages, I have now persuaded my partner to come with me! (He visited Kusadasi years ago and it has put him off Turkey ever since!)
Now, here's the problem. I normally stay in Calis, beach doesn't bother me as I don't use and it and generally like to mooch around and if I want to catch some sun I use the pool.
My partner loves a beach, so we are planning an Olu Deniz hol for end of Sept.
Can anybody recommend a nice hotel? The only specifications I have are cleanliness and no noise when I get back to hotel!
Ideas anyone?  8)

We have stayed in all different hotels in Olu in the past and the quietest one for us was The Karbel. The bar is away from the rooms. Some of the hotels have the rooms grouped around the bar area. More expensive is the Belcekiz Beach.

When we have firends coming out we always recommend the Turquoise in Oludeniz.
It has been there for years and the service/cleanliness is consistent.
They hold great bbq nights where you can eat as much as you like for a set price and dine in the open air.
In all the times we have sent people there they have all loved it and gone back.

Have lost count of how many times we have stayed at the Turquoise, spotless hotel, lovely friendly staff.

Would advise though to request a room overlooking the pool as the hotel opposite can be quite noisey at night if you are overlooking the street, however they will always move you without any fuss to a room of your choice, one of the best hotels in Olu.

The bar overlooks the pool and they have just built an A La Carte restaurant next to it, you will love it there
