Title: Updating Driving Licence
Post by: busybee on August 11, 2010, 18:57:04 PM
My hubby wants to upadate his driving licence from the old green paper one to a photocard one.

We also need to change our address on it. Do we put our Turkish address on it[?] or our daughters UK address.

Many thanks

You can only have a UK address on a UK license, also the photo now has to be changed every 5 years. That has been recently slipped in.

Driving License photo is valid for 10 years.

Renewing the photo on your driving license

In most circumstances, you'll need to renew the photo on your driving license before it expires, as the photo's only valid for ten years

The above was taken from the Directgov internet site
