Title: Hanedans Edinburgh.
Post by: jacqtay on September 23, 2012, 12:53:01 PM
Yumm Yumm....located in Edinburghs southside this place ticks all our boxes.
Small place with 6/8 tables and one waiter with one Chef/owner.
We arrived one afternoon only to find the place full with a 30 /40 min wait for a table, the owner/chef asked if we was willing to use the pub over and along the street for a drink while a table was ready and he would come get us ( dont need to ask hubby twice if he wants to go to the pub) , and that was fine by us... 20 mins later the owner sticks his head in the pub and shouts MERHABA table for two!!! so off we went.
we had mixed meze , squid with wallnuts, and mixed grill for our starters, lamb  and chicken kebabs for mains washed down with Raki each.
When the bill came the owner had knocked a Fiver off the bill to compensate our drink in the pub before we ate. For me this was the clincher in customer service and for this reason ( and the food ) we have returned many times. 10/10 from us.

edit: hubby said he has the meatballs and not the lamb ( shows how much I notice)  ;).
