Title: Clean text free of formatting for web site

Can I write text in Word and then copy and paste to Notepad to clean it and then copy and paste it from Notepad to the web site?

Or, do I need to write it in Notepad and then copy and paste to Word to spell check and make corrections in Notepad.

I haven't got Word on the laptop I am on but could you not make it easier and do it in word then save as a .txt file rather than a .doc file?

OK - I have checked and there is the option to Save As "plain text" - would that be a .txt file?

I can only assume that is the trendy new name for a .txt file :D

The last time I bought word it came with MS Office for 2 lira from a computer place near the cinema :D

Last time I bought Word it cost me 20TL - that's inflation for you and the one before that I traded it for a lamp!  :D
