Title: What's Your All Time Favourite Top 10 Records?
Post by: The Author on May 26, 2014, 16:32:05 PM
I think I could easily give up television or even cinema but music just has this wonderful way of transporting you right back to a time, place, event or person. I thought it might be an interesting and fun  for members to share, in no particular order, their top 10 favourite records  :) I'll start with mine:
1.September - Earth Wind & Fire
2. Stomp - The Brothers Johnson
3. Life on Mars - David Bowie
4. Night Boat to Cairo - Madness
5 Emotions - Samantha Sang
6. I'm Not in Love - 10cc
7.Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen
8.Ziggy Stardust - David Bowie
9. I'm Still Waiting - Diana Ross
10. She's Gone - Foreigner

That was tough. I have about 2800 (50's.60's,70's and 80's) tracks on my ipod and with the exception of a couple of 'modern' tracks that  Jill likes I just love to hear them all  :)

Ok, but this list could change at any time. Top ten this week but may be different next week.
So....In no particular order

The Difference....Matchbox Twenty.
Smooth....Santana (ft Rob Thomas)
Tiny Dancer....Elton John
What a wonderful world....Louis Armstrong
Baby I know....The Rubettes
Disconnected....Keane
Don't pay the ferryman....Chris De Burgh
Sleeping at the wheel....Matchbox Twenty
Soul Sick....Rob Thomas

Some a wee bit obscure......Google or Youtube will help if you can be bothered.

And I must add....some of the other members suggestions reminded me of great songs that I haven't heard for ages.

Highlander, your favourite post bought a lump to my throat, and considering I've never been to Scotland I am sure local people would be overwhelmed by it.
