Nice hotel, the bowling green is adjacent to it and within it's grounds. Didn't see anyone on it at all during our week there last year.

We stayed at the Oykun in June this year and there were quite a few people using it at some time during most days. It is right next to the hotel, can't help with fees, etc. but it was definitely being used.  We really like the Oykun if staying in a hotel, go back to Calis in a few weeks and as we prefer self catering are staying in apartments.  We have stayed in an apartment in the Oykun but they are on the top floor with no lift and in the heat I found the stairs a struggle.

Are you booking direct? Thomson are quite expensive, I can give you contact details if you need them for the bossman.

We stayed at the Oykun several times, from what people were saying it appeared to be quite expensive to use the bowling green.

There is a bowling green at the back of the Amber Pide which is opposite  the Tugay Hotel.   I know there is an ex-pat bowling club that use it.  So you could play there.  Also, the Tugay is cheaper than the Oykun.

We will be looking for somewhere to stay next year, is the Tugay central to the promenade?   :)

Hi Scott and Lisa...........I've played the green at the Oykun many times. It's flat green bowling on carpet base whereas the green opposite the Tugay mentioned by Jacqui is a natural grass crown green.

The Oykun green is open to visitors as well as guests and the price per person earlier this year was 15TL for 90 minutes. All bowls and equipment are at Reception.

The crown green near Tugay is owned by a group of ex pats who are very welcoming and they will let you join in their regular afternoon games for 15TL - time unlimited and they will lend you their bowls if you wish without charge.

I stayed at the Tugay hotel in June and booked through Sunshine Holidays/Jewel in the Crown receiving a very good discount.  Rooms are basic but cleaned every day with regular linen changes.  Breakfast is Turkish style and they also provide snacks and lunches if required.  Family owned and serviced, Ilkay and his wife Cidgem are helped by Lela and other helpers.  It's situated about 10 minutes away from the prom.  The Amber pide across from Tugay and adjacent to the bowling green provides very good snacks and meals during the day and evening.

Enjoy your holiday and happy bowling (whichever style you choose!).
