To stir up passion in a little pool, Lord {"A Touch of the Night"} Howard incites war on the Spanish-speaking people of the world. Meanwhile, where the big boys and girls play, Donald {"You Couldn't Make It Up"} Trump warns the Chinese that if they don't sort out North Korea then he will. But it is all fiction of course; just a game; not to be taken seriously. It is ... isn't it???

It's a big game of "RISK" to Trump.

Even pre - Trump US philosophy regarding global relations had always been "I've got a gun and you haven't" or, at least "I have more guns than you".

At a recent conference four international speakers were asked "What is your personal opinion of about the international food shortage?"

The African delegate said "What's food?"

The European said "What's a shortage?"

The Chinese asked "What's a personal opinion?"

The American, looking very puzzled, said "What's international?".

  I think the World right now is as dangerous as it was during the US / Russian Nuclear stand off, perhaps more so.

  Korea's Lunatic. Iran's ambitions. Brussels inexperienced Experts.Trumps impending Reality Meltdown. Millions of

  Human Beings around this globe starving to death. Countless countries Economies on the point of collapse.

  China creating Chinese land where it's never existed before.

   I don't think I could be convinced to buy a season ticket to WW3        :)

Unfortunately  populism is on the rise in every corner of the world.  is it because liberal policies fail to adress the problems of middle class or is it because poverty and rising nationalism  prevailed  over common sense 
or  another option   who knows.
