Anyone flying from Edinburgh over the next seven weeks or so can grab some cheap parking at the Secure Airpark (just round the corner from Flying Scot).

About as cheap as it gets for one so close to the terminal.

Thanks for that John, just been for a look but it is only up to 15 days. We are going for a month, but very handy and cheap if you are not having a long holiday.

I emailed them today, no answer. Never mind will shop around. Last year we found a deal for £90.00 for the four weeks which we thought was very good.

Try Plane parking Meet and greet service
they are excellent
I used them last year
and just back yesterday from dalaman
£30 for 8 days
But drop off and pick up right at the door
They also email you with special discounts

I've used Plane Parking many times - in fact back in the early days before they had their own car park and used the Long Stay it used to be ridiculously cheap.
Still great value now, only problem is their bus stops are for show only and you have to walk through into the Long Stay to their stops. Still great value though.
Also if you book early enough with a decent promo code, you can park in the short term (surface) parking and walk straight into the terminal. £3.50 an hour short term but I've got it for under £40 a week. No lugging heavy cases on and off buses or standing around waiting.

Booked Plane Parking meet and greet back in January for 9th May for six weeks, got it for £65.92. Think I got a bargain.

It is possible to park for Edinburgh airport, up to seven days, for £11.50. Its semi secure and has a Passmark accreditation from the Police.
Anyone guess where?

Dump the car in the Ferrytoll (http://www.ferrytoll.org/) park and ride at the north side of the bridge. Parking is free up to seven days and its £11.50 rtn on the bus to the airport.
Guy I know uses it regularly and as he's got a bus pass (60+), he gets to the airport for free. He got a ticket once for overstaying by a day or two and paid up with a smile - it was still cheaper than Flying Scot etc.
There's another P&R a few miles before Ferrytoll, Halbeath which offers the same deal.
