Well the have found another way of making the customers pay.

When we came home with Easy Jet it was ridiculous the size of some peoples hand luggage. Some were like suitcases. What happened to them being a certain size. There were measuring frames there but were never used. This is what spoils it for everyone.

Quite right Ally - some people are so selfish >:(

Couldn't agree more Ally B. The thing that annoys me most is that they take huge bags/cases into the cabin put them in the overheads and only go near them again when they land. So what was in them - obviously nothing that was need for the flight.
>:(

This is what also contributed hugely to the delays at Dalaman when leaving. So much in their cases, then they only had to repack it all after security had taken it out and done their comprehensive checks before boarding.

Surely if the airlines stuck to certain size hand luggage people who have luggage that is far too big would have to pay for putting it in the hold like everyone else and there would be no need for an other EXTRA charge. The EXTRAS will soon be more than the flight. On the safety side I have seen people with over sized hand luggage nearly topple downstairs getting off the plane.

Before airlines started charging for checked in luggage, I used to travel with no hand luggage at all.
This wasn't caused by the customers.

Fair comment Scunner, but it is as it is and I dont think anyone should abuse the system the way some people do.
-
Can't disagree, except to say that people will only abuse things when allowed to. If the airlines have rules and fail to enforce them, it is the airline's fault (again!!)
