Be quick with this EasyJet bargain
One-way Dalaman to Stansted tonight 22.40. £863.18 :( :(
Don't all rush at once 8)

No sign of any early summer flights showing yet.
-
According to their website April to June flights will be released in September. In the past they have tended to release them on a Thursday.
-
How could they possibly hope to fill that seat at that price!!!
-
Some very cheap return flight availability with Thomas Cook if you're flexible with your dates in September and October. Just been looking for a mate and she could come and go from Gatwick for less than £100 plus baggage :o
-
There are also some great Xmas returns on tcook from Antalya.
-
Gatwick flights for 2018 are cheap but the further north you travel in the U.K., the more the flight companies and tour operators punish you.
-
Not just north to get the high prices.
Exeter's well up in the pricey stakes.
-
According to Easyjet site, next years flights up to June are being released late September.

Do you think that might have something to do with the fact that the further north you go in the UK, the further you are from Turkey ? ;)

Aviation fuel prices are such that flying to Turkey from north of Gatwick is negligible. There is NO reason why flights should be £200 more.

Going by a website on my laptop the following distances apply
Glasgow to Dalaman 2035miles
Glasgow to Tenerife 2017miles
Glasgow to Rhodes 2028miles
As you can see the distance is pretty much the same.
Checking the price for the period 19/Sept to 3/Oct cheapest to Tenerife from Glasgow was £160, Out with Thomson back with Thomas Cook Rhodes from Glasgow £154 out and back with Thomas Cook
Dalaman from Glasgow £388 out and back with Jet 2
I think it was Scunner who said the flights to Turkey were subsidized by theTurkish government, if that is indeed the case where is all the money going, not to the holiday makers obviously. I do think there is a bit of a vendetta against Turkey. And as for the difference in price between north and south airports the dearer price cant be justified.
