I seem to have aquired a pink background and shadow on my laptop can anyone reccomend a reliable computer hospital for my laptop baby. Last time i had it looked at here came back with an illegal copy of windows when my licence number was on a label under the computer.  Any help would be gratefuly received.

thanks very much will try him very soon, however it seems to have stopped now, still my baby could do with a clean up, whoops pink had returned as i type will be on the phone forthwith ta very much Maria

I had a similar problem and turned out to be my graphics card the fan on the card had froze and caused the card to burn out,

did by any chance your computer just turn it's self off with a little pop several times leading up to this ?  Although it has been fine today no probs. ta very much for the advice might be able to save my baby yet.

Thank you andylin went to see Murat, he going to check out all my systems, not sure if my pinkness is a softwear problem but will give my laptop a mot anyway.  So once again thankyou for recomending a lovely helpful couple.
