could anybody tell me the cheapest place in town for paint/stains etc,both internal and ext.Have been using the Goksular market near the citroen garage(now closed),but it all seems expensive.Oh for a two gallon tub of maggy textured sandtex!Also need some guttering,plastic.Much obliged,T.

The problem with the goksular is there is never any prices on anything, you dont find out the price until you get to the till:-\
Park Yapi market seems reasonable, we have bought paint from there  also there are loads of Boya shops, cant comment on price though.

looked into this over a year ago and was quoted for "the best exterior paint" called hytech as used on space missions even had demo with the guy trying to burn sample on a card, comes with 5 year warrenty price 220 Lr for 15kg pack which covers 25sq metres. to me sandtex or ici copy which overs 15 warrenty much better bet. however not seen an importer yet even though parent company of ici owns paint company in turkey.

I didn't accuse you of being funny, nothing was further from my mind. Both are between the Baris Manco Bulvari roundabout (Aydin Pide) and the Sunday market.
