my husband and i are looking to hire out pedal bikes in calis beach. can anyone inform us or recommend somewhere to hire from thanks. my hubby has a 100 mile race 2 weeks after our holiday end of may so needs to get some miles in if possible :)

Suzie, as you come off the prom, over the bridge, there is a place on the left you can hire them from. Not sure of the name, but you can't miss it, the cycles are outside.
There is also somewhere on the prom, turn right as you get to the beach, again I am rubbish with names!!

There is also a new bike Shop a few doors down from Ayden Pide that sells and rents bikes.

Hi,Are you serious????Bikes here are either made of chinese scaffold pole disguised as mountain bikes,or ex raleigh imitations 30 years old in design.Suggest you get double gellpacks in the shorts!!or go to a gym

To be fair the old adage "you get what you pay for" should be applied here. Yes the cheap Chinese/Tiwanese bikes you can buy or rent leave a lot to be desired and at up to 10TL a day to rent if you are staying for 2 weeks or more you would probably be better of buying one and giving it away at the end of your holiday! However if you want to spend 4-500TL you can get a really good quality Turkish made alloy cycle with top of the range brakes gears etc.

We rented ours at Pelin Hotel last year. Ok for short joiurneys but mega sore on the old "bahookie" for anything longer than 4 or 5 miles!
