You can sympathise with fans leaving a lost cause with 10 minutes to go, but it was sad to see Burnley fans leaving long before half time. Burnley were way past awful but it was also remarkable how many of their fans stayed to the end.

I couldn't believe all the rain and the pitch, we drove past Burnley on the motorway whilst they were playing and it wasn't even spitting.

. My Son in law and grandson are both season ticket holders and they stuck it out to the bitter end
