keep away form the centre today it is bedlam, just spoke to a Turkish neighbour there are 10,000 police drafted in today

Theren't that number of police drafted in to London for the recent student riots. 10.000 seems a lot? Hopoe the move went smooth Mark. x

Their route was very close to where I live, for the return journey, my daughter, grand daughter and my hubby walked to the corner of the road to view proceedings.  One of the bodyguards stopped his car, got out and beckoned my daughter and grand daughter over, all to give Ceyda a doll.  Then to top it off, the prime minister threw a book at my hubbies head! (or maybe my husband is just a bad catcher.)
So, we profited nicely from his visit
