three month visa change

It's all the same as before still...no change so just ignore the 90/180 sticker which they are using.
You can stay here 90 days then you have to leave or do a visa run to Meis or Rhodes..
Your 90 days (not 3 months) start on the day your visa was stamped on entry, so you can easily work out the date your visa runs out. In Oct get a new visa.....

A friends mum arrived in the early hours of Saturday morning they have a 90/180 visa sticker from Dalaman.  Is it 90/180 or just 90?

We flew out to Dalaman on 6th May we received a new edition stamp 90/180 days. Our neighbours flew out on 3rd May and received an old style 90 day stamp.

We were comparing our passports as another neighbour (who spends alot of time in Turkey) had gone back to England to visit a poorly relative and ended up spending a very expensive 3 months in the UK as unknowingly she had been issued with a new stamp when she went to either Rhodes or Meis. She is now going to have to bite the bullet and get residency.

Hi all, i've just been on the fco.gov.uk website and have copied the information below.  I flew out at the end of April and have one of the new stickers 90/180 so have just checked.  Hope this tells people what they need to know.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Entry Requirements - Visas
A visa is required for British nationals to enter Turkey unless they are cruise ship passengers who enter the country for a day trip and return to the ship the same day. British citizens (for diplomatic/official passports see below) may obtain a multiple entry visitor's visa valid for 90 days at the port of entry on payment of £10  in cash (Scottish currency is not accepted).

Turkish Authorities recently revised their visa stamps.  All visas now state that they are valid for multiple stays up to a maximum of 90 days in a 180 day period.  However, the Immigration Authorities inform us that these rules are not being applied and that visas are valid as before, for multiple entries within 90 days of issue.  Be careful not to overstay 90 days from the date of issue, as some British nationals have been fined and banned from re-entering.

British diplomatic/official passport holders must apply for a visa before travelling.  If you do not have a visa issued by a Turkish mission overseas, you may be refused entry, detained and deported. If travelling on unofficial business, you should use your normal passport and buy a 90 day visa at the airport on arrival.

If entering Turkey via the Bulgarian border crossing, ensure that your passport has a dated entry stamp. Some British nationals have obtained a visa but not had their passport stamped. In some cases, this has resulted in detention and later deportation for illegal entry.

If you hold aBN(O), British Overseas Citizen, British Protected Person or British Subject passport  you should check visa requirements with your nearest Turkish Consulate before travelling.  If you arrive without the correct visa, you - may be refused entry to Turkey.

Working illegally, without the correct visa and work permit, could results in deportation from Turkey, a fine and a ban on re-entering.  You may be held in detention awaiting deportation and are unlikely to be able to collect your belongings before departure.

When re-newing my residents visa last week, I was asking about the  90/180 day rule. I was told that some ports and airports maybe usuing those stickers but for now, the original rules still apply.
As mentioned by both the Turkish and British goverments earlier this year and some Turkish/English papers, the 90/180 day rule would probably be in place late summer or early autumn.
As always, we wait to see.

So the very officious Turkish officials sell us a multiple entry visa that clearly and unambiguously states that it is valid for 180 days from issue, except it is not.   Great!

On the basis there were about 28m visitors last year, the Govt may have printed a lot of visa stamps in advance and they need using up.
