Burglaries...again
« on: January 27, 2012, 15:13:06 PM »
These last few weeks has seen an increase in the number of burglaries in and around Ovacik. Please everyone be security conscious. From what we've heard and experienced ourselves it would seem that these scum are clocking peoples movements in and out of their homes. In our case, and to our amazement, security bars were forced open at the locks to enter our apartment.

Oh no, postings like this depress me but my agent has not indicated any issues with our place. What area in Ovacik is targeted or is it opportunistic.

No specific areas, although they seem to be targetting properties that are currently occupied rather than those empty for the winter. Cash and jewellery are the main things they seem to be wanting.
Sorry to depress you but just wanted to make residents aware if this.

Last week I attached chains and padlocks for extra security to our opening security bars.

I also fill and send a complaint form ( on Aydem's website ) , whenever streetlights are off.
