Turkish kids

Is it me?  Am I being Victor Meldrewish?  Am I the only one to find the the little 'darlings' over indulged and a right pain in the fundament? They're whiney, noisy  and could do with a good slap round the legs, or for the politically correct at least 3 hours on the naughty step!!!! The lot on our site are driving me nuts....here we are nearly 10.00pm and they're all squealing so much I cannot hear myself think.  Entreaties to their parents fall on deaf ears.  I cannot wait for the end of summer when they and their parents depart to from whence they came!!!!!

I'm afraid I'm with you on this one. At the mom we have 2 families here, each with a 2 year old. My friends have one of these families as next door neighbours & earlier this year, thought they done well, when the family with a warbling son that made excruciating noises with a guitar, moved out. The other day, after a screaming match that seemed to go on all night, they were wishing that the warbling was back!

The other family are down from Ankara for the summer, their little darling has the endearing habit of making a high pitched screaming sound whenever something doesn't suit. I was on my balcony the other night & couldn't help but see that whilst sonny boy was chucking his toys (literally), Granny was cuddling him, until she was wacked over the head with a ride on tractor. Not sure what happened after that, as the live in maid drew the curtains.

Believe me, the Redding clan are aa quiet as the proverbial church mice by comparison with these two little Damiens!
