Is anywhere in Turkey warm at Christmas?

Are there any parts of Turkey that are sunny and warm over the Christmas period?  We were considering going away this year.

It wasn't too shabby here last Christmas Day & Boxing Day, though we did have a couple of days rain that week too & the nights are very chilly.

Flights are year round from the UK to Antalya, as the climate in that area tends to be a bit warmer, but there are no guarantees & again you get chilly nights. Same thing applies to Northern Africa, Morocco, Tunisia & Egypt, but the chances are that all will be much warmer & sunnier than being in the UK

We had gloriously warm and sunny weather a few years back;  firstly in Icmeler and secondly in Altinkum.  Sitting on the beach Christmas day was wonderful in our teeshirts.  However, if you want assured warm, sunny weather, you are better heading off to the Canaries.  We usually go to Tenerife for a week at Christmas and have never been disappointed.  In fact, even in the evenings, you can sit outside with no cardi.

It can be quite hit and miss in the canaries too I'm afraid - we have maybe been unlucky but for the past 3 years we have been in late November, Jan and Feb and had quite a lot of rain and chilly wind.  As I said, maybe just unlucky ......but 3 years on the run!  Still, better than the snow and ice over here

We were in Altinkum 3 years ago and it was 24 degrees on Christmas Day.  We spent the afternoon sitting outside the bar drinking whilst the kids were on the beach, it was wonderful.  We had a few lovely days, but it can be cool at night tho.

I was looking at Lara Beach earlier today and was thinking about a Christmas break there this year, it looks nice.
