On the 12th March my wife and I will be in Chalis looking at property to buy.
We rented for a year and would have kept on renting but the landlord got greedy. Looking for a two bedroom place with a shared pool .Can you give us some idea as to the local tax on something like this.
Thank you l

Hi there,

Council Tax is very cheap in Fethiye. We own a 3 bed villa with a shared pool and paid 104 Lira last year.....for the whole year.

This is per person on the deeds.

It's that time of year again.
I have got onto www.fethiye.bel.tr and clicked on

Then I entered my 5 digit code from previous bill and got

Clicking on Tum boclari sec highlights all the outstanding payments.
So after this click on large secliri boclari odemek... Button
Then on next screen click on red Odeme Islemini Baslat button.
Then next screen you can enter your bank card details and it's done.

Only taken me years to sort this hence the huge bill!!

Keng38,

That's fantastic - just done ours with your instructions and a little help from Google translate here and there.

It worked perfectly - even got an emailed PDF receipt.

That's saved a couple of hours queuing in Fethiye next month.

Thank you very much for the info.

Ian

Here is a visual guide. Image by image.
Click on the Sikil kodu lie online tahsilat button.

Then click on Tum boclari sec to highlight all the above transactions then click Secili borclari button.

Click the button with the red writing. Odeme islemini Baslat.

You can then enter your card details. Mine is turkish account not sure if a uk card works here or not.

Last page is confirmation. Probably best to print this out just I case we are all donating to charity by mistake lol

I don't think ours has gone through.....this is what it said at the very end:

Fethiye Belediyesi 'e Yaptığınız 32.9 TL Tutarındaki Ödeme işlemi BAŞARISIZ Oldu

Ödeme işlemini Tekrar Başlatmak için Buraya Tıklayın.

Any clues?

It says your payment transaction to Fethiye Belediye of £32.90 failed.
