The price increase was over a year ago and that was after their prices had been unchanged since the day they opened - get over it!  :)
It does'nt seem to have lost them much buisness though, still very popular....

I was about to say the same Philrose that the price increase was a fair while ago now...On our recent trip we had a lovely sit down meal, very nice lady was running the place that night, our portions were huge we were stuffed!
We also had a takeaway delivery one evening which was also great, these were two of our best meals defo  :)

fair comment Jacqui. great value for the tourists. such a shame as we supported them from day one. such a hike as per previous posts.

If you choose to live in a tourist area you'll pay tourist prices...

Four of us had a takeaway from here last night. As usual the dishes were absolutely superb. We all agreed this was the best meal we've had since we arrived. The Beef Satay is the best I have ever tasted.

just a point to philrose and john f. if you read previous posts re shanghai blues it was the fact that it was an immediate hike of 7 lira on our normal takeaway. if this had been done in stages I would still be having my normal Saturday night take away. could not fault the food.
