Little Black Dots - Insects?
« on: August 27, 2014, 15:54:07 PM »
Just before we went home for a few weeks in mid July we saw some little black spots around the base of the fridge - just near the foot but some just inside.

They were so tiny you only saw them on a white background.

So we bleached everything thoroughly - took all part's out of fridge and even lifted it up and cleaned the underneath with bleach and sprayed insect repellant.

On our return we had more around the fridge and just inside (have bleached all the seals) and this photo through a magnifying glass shows them in the lounge near the tile skirting. We have seen little spots across the other side of the kitchen.

So is it the heat and just keep cleaning and bleaching or does anyone have any ideas ???

Never saw them in previous years.

Ian

But whilst we were at home our relatives have been here so it is well ventilated and the picture is against a wall that has sun every day for 4/5 hours?

Forgot to say we are in a duplex and this is a first floor level problem only.

Wasn't meaning mould, but the spores that in a moist atmosphere cause the mould (fungus).

Ah John will have to Google that but is it common in a clean well ventilated home ?

Oh and Gill is adamant they move but I can't see that with my eyes!
