It wasn't always like that though, Boss. When we 1st went out there to live in early 2003, we went to Gemiler Bay with the hire car we had, (I remember the dirt-track very well, still have the bruises!) and there was only one Turkish family there who actually lived there all year round. Nothing was too much for them, they invited us to eat with them, let us use their speed-boat to go around Nicholas Island, and were rather "reluctant" to let us pay. It was in February, and the weather/scenery was fantastic, with a photo shoot taking place for Turkeys premier fashion magazine, complete with scantily dressed young maidens!! Hmmmm.
Gordy.
