Title: Auction of paintings by local artists Saturday 12th July @ Mekan cafe

There will be an auction of paintings by local artist on Saturday 12th July @ Mekan cafe to raise money for FETAV.

They can previously be viewed at the Mekan cafe until the 8th July (that's today at time of posting).

I have seen some of the paintings for auction in the Fetav offices and I have to say some of them are stunning but mostly VERY large so more suitable for big premises. Really beautiful though and they did have some normal sized ones.  Particularly beautiful one of a young ladies face with birds and flowers and butterflies in her hair. Hard to describe but very interesting to see.

Have to agree ...that one is beautiful and made me think of my Mum as Poppies were her favourite flower.
