Title: Sharp as a pin. Autumnal.
Post by: ovacik2 on September 05, 2013, 07:00:45 AM
What a great day yesterday up here. Hot and sunny during the day, but a little muggy. Then last night it all happened. Warm an calm then the wind picked up and up, batten down the deck chairs and umbrellas winds.

This morning first signs of Autumn, drop in temperature, pin sharp  views of the mountains beyond Fethiye and of Babada, just stunning. Just love September love this place, but also time for travelling?

Lovely description and photos.

Every September in the UK, I start to feel a little sad. The nights get dark so quickly and all it seems we have to look forward to is 6 months of cold, wet weather. I'm no fan of the cold and really detest snow.

But I am very much looking forward to spending winters in Ovacik. Sunny days and chilly evenings sounds like a perfect combination.

I'll be coming to admire the views and some properties tomorrow and I really cannot wait.  8)

Thanks Suzz. I'm very excited.

I'm grateful to people like ovacik2 who keep my addiction for lovely views well topped up.

And the whole WORLD will know when I've found somewhere!  ;D

Wow- in that case it should make for a pretty crowded house warming party. As they say - Get Baking !

Haven't baked in years, Scorcher. Maybe I should start again.

It'll be another thing to add to my list of things I will do 'When I'm in Turkey'.

This is, of course, basically a list of prevarication.

Taxi to airport due in 2.5 hours. See you soon, Fethiye <3

Menthol. Short and sweet we hope. Remember do your research, then do it again then research your research then check it once or twice more. Hope you are successful where ever you choose. Fethiye area is just superb.   :) 8)
