I could get it down to £666 if we fly back Monday before but that's not what we want.

It's a waiting game now I think

I've just found a flight from LBA to DLM on 30/05/2018 with BudgetAir.co.uk for £190.11pp + £39 for 1 x 20kg luggage.

£250 with Monarch for the return on 27/06/2018.

We haven't been out this year yet, October with Monarch from Manchester, so no idea when we'll be going next year! So will just keep checking what happens with prices.

October 2018 from Birmingham to Dalaman with Monarch is reasonable. We haven't been out this year and have really missed it so I'm keen to get next year booked.

Turkey could really cash in on tourism because of the euro rates BUT the greedy tour operators insist on loading the prices of package holidays and flights.  It's ridiculous and to be honest Easyjet won't be offering knock down prices when they see what the others are charging.

In contrast, Manchester to Malaga with Monarch on pretty much the same travel dates is £141 return.

Another tough year ahead.

Again as a comparison, we have booked 7 nights on Monarch MAN-DLM in the (what I would call) equivalent month to May, October, for less than these prices, including 7 days 5* All Inclusive at Jiva Beach in Calis.

And we can get amazing VFM from AI :D

Just found a package NOT Thompson  to Calis from Gatwick 28 th sept 7 nights B/B staying at our favourite Oykun  for the price of £ 7 5 9 total,very good flight times BUT  silly prices as I know we can get the hotel room for a very low rate, so I searched the  package holiday site for the breakdown of costs  found the flights were only £259 total for 2 people for the flight == £400 for the room  a rip off , so looked for the flights everywhere  and hey ho  nothing at that price for the same flight code / dates ect.
Seems to me that tour operators have block booked flights and rooms together to rip off people , I hope they loose out and then I hope airlines will drop the flight prices, and we can have our late break..
