Hi was thinking in visiting Olu Deniz in April but noticed most hotels dont advetise until May?  Is this because the resort isnt really open until then?

Would Calis be a better option in April?

Have been to both and love both places but never been that early in the year?

Also wat kind of temprature can you expect in April?  (Late)

Olu doesn't normally start up til the beginning of May. The end of April is usually very pleasant I have never needed even a cardigan at night. A bit cold for swimming though.

think you'll always get some visitors around the school easter break.
may is the official start, but places will be open.
hotel pools could be empty though.

Calis is always that bit busier because people live there,whereas no-one lives in Olu apart from some hotel owners really.

In olu deniz places will just be getting ready to open so its usually like a building site,they should really all be open by april 1st because people do come for holiday and are disapointed,the weather is usually lovely but does get chilly at night,also the sea will be cold (well it is to us that live here)

We go to our place in Ovacik in April, really quite but  a few places open locally in Ovacik,  Hisaranou  and in Fethyie which, is a short hop away on the Dolmus. We love it that time of year to be honest and the weather is really nice, 22 ish last April.

Lycia World will be open and usually have some good deals in April, more to do there and the food is fantastic

Mosaic in oludeniz also opens just before the Easter hols.... New hotel and very very nice.... Recommend....

why don't the hotels realise that easter is a major holiday in england? they could have another months business.

Simply that they do not want to pay the staff wages,electric bills,staff n.i.c for a small number of guests when they have to survive on about a five month season anyway.But for pure activity it would be better to go to calis,more locals about and much cheaper to go into fethiye by Dolmus.Try the Harman Hotel,its open all year and he may have the pool up and running earlier because of that.good luck
