moving and residency.

If you already have your residency and move home, still in the same district, what is the procedure? Is there a charge for renewing your residency if you need to.
Many thanks

The information about this is in the back of the old style resident permit but I believe that the time scale for doing so has been reduced. Delaying informing the authorities incurs a fine. Not sure what the costs are for the old permit.

New resident permit holders will be please to know that for them the information is just taken (at the moment) by the Passport Police and I believe it's entered into the computer and it's done there and then, no need to send off the permit any more.

You have to get a new Nufus from the Beledıye ın Fethıye go and see the Passport Polıce wıthın 48 hours of movıng or you got a hefty fıne. It tells you ın the back of your resıdency book as Nıcola says.

We know "someone" who did theirs last year 18 months after they moved, "they" had no problems but had to go through all the procedure again like doing a new one but there was no charge.
