Two goats which were stuck on an escarpment were rescued by the Turkish Search and Rescue Team (AKUT) in Muğla’s Fethiye district.
A farmer named ibrahim Çakal lost three of his 20 goats while pasturing them on Monday. One of the goats returned the farm and Çakal looked for his goats for six days. During the search the man found the goats were stuck on a hill and called the AKUT when he could not rescue the animals by himself.
A special AKUT team arrived at the scene and rescued the goats in a short time successfully. Head of the team Ersin Gür stated that they have saved life of 85 animals in the region.
