Managed at last to get the flat screen hooked up to the wife's notebook.

Using a VPN managed to watch the whole river parade in good quality.

Opens up a new vista of viewing.

You wouldnt have needed a VPN to watch the parade. It was live on BBC world and CNN

It was also shown live on BBC HD Poland via Hotbird 13 degree East as will some olympic and Euro 2012 events apparently.
