After completing my dental treatment, with Cigdem in Tasayka I can honestly say she is THE BEST DENTIST I HAVE HAD IN MY LIFETIME. (61yrs and I have had many)
She is kind, gentle, explanatory and a perfectionist. I am over the moon with my bridge and crowns. I experienced, honesty, no pain, a perfect smile and met someone who is lovely to boot.
I only recommend when a service/person truly deserves it. In this instance, it is truly warranted!!!
I do not like the dentist, who does?? but if you are dental phobic this is the dentist to go to.

She did some work on me last year before she set up on her own and really was gentle and caring - a genuinely lovely lady.

My friend has been quoted 1600 lira for 8 crowns.. she paid that for one in The UK...

i need quiet a bit of work done and am a dental phobe! i think i might pop in when next over and get a quote at that price i could have my teeth done and have a free holiday!

Get a quote from Cagatay Aras too. A lot of members here use him and he is also a member and very generous when the Charity Auction is on in May. We have benefitted a couple of times from his kind donations by bidding and getting treatment vouchers. We also always use him as do most of the family now. He is very high tech and very good at calming down nervous people.

Its past the intersection( Garden Furniture Place), on the left going up Tasayka main street. 100 metres on there is the Doulca Wine Shop, its round the back and the up the stairs. You will see the Dentist sign Dis Hekimi on the corner of this building. I paid 1200 for 6 crowns, four of which were on a bridge.

Thanks Busybee, think I know where you mean , I got a quote from a Dentist in Fethiye, for 1 crown and 1 Bridge at over 2000 lira , probably still cheaper than the UK but worth sharing to see if it is about the right price.

I also recommend Cagatay for crowns implants . but another very good dentist that I had to go to last week because Cagatay was in England is Ibrahim Ozturk at MYDENT the grey marble faced practice along the top road the dolmus takes after leaving the depot behind the mosque. The Dolmus turns left but if you turn right cross the road and go down about 20 yards you will find MYDENT on a corner.
I used Ibrahim when I first arrived in Turkey 7 years ago. he never gives an injection and it never hurts. usually I am such a coward I almost need to be knocked out but he is so gentle and patient, that apart from a slight twinge now and again (and he then stops immediately ) it is pain free. also painfree on the pocket. last week he had to rebuild a broken tooth with white filling and it looks better than new. I went along on the off chance 9.15 and they booked me in for 2.50 pm and by 3.40 I was out and eating on it. 250 lire. so good on all aspects.

Sorry Cheryl, but I would insist on the injection. I would hate to have "twinges" when the Dentist had to stop.
I want all the pain relieve I can get in the Dentist's chair and would hate the thought of having a tooth built up with no injection image if the dentist hit a nerve....If it was me, he would be minus a couple of fingers, and probably a couple of other things too. ;D ;)

It only costs 200 tl for a new crown at the lady in Tasyaka and 250tl is the standard top price..

Sue would be grateful for contact details and location for this guy. We arrive in Uzumlu on fFriday and Sue will be sporting a temp filling. Temp fillings tend to live up to their name, and she is likely to need a dentist during our visit.
Also the price for a new crown in Turkey sounds interesting.

I too would like to give praise to Cagatay... Yesterday I had an appointment for what I thought was going to be a standard replacement filling that came out in Feb/March...On inspection it turned out I needed a root canal filling, as soon as those words were said I did start to feel a little scared purely because I had one done many years ago in the UK and I distinctly remember having to go into work after with a hot water bottle attached to my face and popping pain killers every four hours...To say I was pleasantly surprised was an understatement, not one pain killer popped and today just the sensation of having had a normal filling done...Also the results are amazing Cagatay took some before and after x.rays the before one was awful maybe partly due to the fact it was mercury, the after ones were amazing it looks like a brand new white tooth, I am really pleased....

My one and only bridge has fallen out (yesterday) and I would like to try the 'lady dentist in Tasyaka' but cannot find her!
Can anyone locate her with map directions or give me her website please? By main street in Tasyaka, which one do you mean?

From Otogar - go towards Hisaronu direction - to lights at top of road - turn left - (this is what we call the main street) - go past big furniture shop with lots of furniture outside - and about 100 yds after there look up to your left and you will see the sign for Dis Hekimi and her name :)
Ps My wife says its in between the 2 supermarkets on the left - but I think my directions are better ;)

Booked an appointment with Cidgem at Tasyaka for a checkup and clean and have to say I was very impressed with her treatment and cam, kind manner. Absolutely spotless modern surgery, will definately be going to her in future. Just above Doluca Wine in Tasyaka

Sorry not to have replied earler, have been away. Cigdem's tel no. is 0252 6110833. She charges 200TL approx for a crown. She doesn't have a web site. Hope this info helps.

It is Tasyaka area halfway down Baha Sikman Cad. just get on the bus to Fethiye from Hisaronou but ring first to make an appointment :-)

I have been with Cagatay for several years but recently had a consultation and treatment with Cidgem, Very happy with her and will keep using her

Don't use taxi it is a very good bus service and you can get off at the door!

What bus number go's near Gurol apartments Hisaronu? where do i have to look out for when i get off will it have a dentist sign? Confused ;)

I can't tell you as I am in Calis but the Fethiye bus is a good regular service every 10 mins in the season so easy for you :-)

I know that Cigdem is in tashyka is that how you spell it? so i gather thats in Fetiye?

Tasyaka is the area of Fethiye you reach first when travelling from Hisaronu into Fethiye. If you show the driver the name/logo or whatever when you get on, he'll normally stop for you and let you know.

;D Just to let you all know that i had my teeth done by the wonderful Cigdem in Tasyaka my teeth look wonderful, very gentle lady and so nice..)
Very happy with my teeth and will go back for more treatment in May next year :)

I have recently had some major dental work done using Cigdem, and I can honestly say she is the best dentist I have ever met, and would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone.
She has a very calming and caring attitude and she actually really cares about her patients and how they feel about dentists, and also about the pain management side of things.
When you go there, you really feel as though you are visiting a friend who happens to be a dentist and who wants to help you.
Brilliant dentist, and really nice lady also. Her assistant, who's name I cannot remember right now, is also really nice and welcoming too.

Mrs B used Dentart before being recommended to Cibi Gocken in Gunlukbasi, very pleased with her and only a short walk from our apartment. :)

She has got all the equipment for sale in her surgery in Tasyaka, is moving very soon.

Cigdem is a great dentist my x-father in law recommended her he lives in Umzumlu. I went to see her for my first consultation and she was fab iam going back in May to see her to have further work to finish my new straight white smile...her costs are great x

Cigdem is above the Ocakbasi restaurant opposite Hello Bufe, as Nicola said, now in the Dentart practice. They are on the third floor, as you are facing the restaurant take the road to the left and the entrance is just on the right. I had a check up and a low level clean, thank goodness, all I needed! I had work done on my teeth a number of years ago here in Fethiye and wanted to ask a few questions, these she answered fully. I would certainly return to her.
