Hello, Can anyone please tell me where the Grand Vizon hotel is ? I know Ive seen it but I cant for the life of me think where it is, I seem to think its more toward the far end ( Guvens end ) ? also Dogus Hotel is it very far past the X dolphin roundabout, sorry to be a pest but these are the only hotels coming up for my dates and I just don't want to risk a long walk from the promenade alone at night many thanks in advance

It is at that end of the prom - approximately 200 metres from the prom.

The walk from the prom end is fairly well lit.
Past Letoon, past Obens on the right, then past hotel on the right (can remember the name), across the road and then less than 100 metres

thanks Highlander, I think I might give it a miss I think its a hotel too far especially crossing roads. I don't run that fast these days.

I have looked but single occupancy puts the cost up beyond my price limit on top of expensive flights this year, I stayed at Letoon at the point where the old owner sold it, had a great holiday I have to say although the place was in a terrible state then, I really did have a good holiday it was like faulty towers then. but looks lovely now. maybe if my hubby ever gets well enough to go we might try it.

Hi Jacqui,thanks for the links but I have looked at these maps but they don't ring true to location as Grand Vizon id showing right in front of the Mutlu which I know it isn't. and the Dogus is showing on the front street on a par with the Oykun which is also wrong, so I thought it best to ask on here .

We have stayed at the Grand Vizion and even after the odd gin and tonic or seven, I did manage to make my way back to it :)

So are we talking about the main road where you would cross to go toward the Pelin or just the piece of road running up opposite the Seril Hotel ?

The Dogus hotel is not far from the Sunday market in Calis, quite a walk to Dolphin roundabout

Ahhhh !!!! such happy memories of the Dogus (turned up for our booking
at midnight in late March this year to find the place being gutted by builders.)
Ended up at the Posseidon in Ovacik (their sister hotel.)
The Dogus was still not re-opened in June (so I can't review it ;) )
