Title: Seketur hotel
Post by: Christie on September 12, 2014, 16:00:30 PM: We have just heard that the Seketur hotel has been sold and will be knocked down and a 5 star hotel built in its place incorporating the land at the back. Bad news for all the people who go there every year and for all the bars/restaurants near it. Anyone else heard this rumour ?

I say this as I have just read a very recent report of worrying bad service,and we are due there 24th Sep for ONE month and are wondering if we should change Hotels.

Post by: lissa on September 16, 2014, 19:06:08 PM: Believe Ozyer group have bought it. They own Liberty hotels, called before just Lykia World,Asena Village, Asena Beach. And of course, were Hanel house and owned the gold centre. Still have Telmessos Gold centre in fethiye, change office and other gold shop.

I was told by a reliable source (nearby restaurant proprietor ;) ) that it would remain untouched for maybe 2 years along with another hotel on the front bought by the same group.
