Is it possible to get trips to Rhodes from Fethiye at this time of year please does anyone know?
-
The Ferry does not start until the end of April and as far as I know Yesil Dalyan are the only company that sail to Rhodes. Here is their timetable:

The Bodrum and Marmaris ferries to Rhodes don't resume until 1st May.
There's a service that runs every Friday and Monday throughout the year from Meis / Kastellorizo to Rhodes.

I don't think Rhodes Airport is open until after Easter.

looked on this site and it says marmaris running? http://www.feribot.net/feribot/?lang=en&gclid=CLOKvsHp_8ICFQHJtAodGQ8AYQ. where is Meis/Kastellorizo? Thanks as well for your reply. This is proving such a headache

If you are thinking of Rhodes for a visa to get back to Turkey for 90 days, then you could go to Kas and then over to Meis by ferry, a Greek island about 25 minutes across the bay from Kas. You can get a bus to Kas from Fethiye. The ferry to Meis goes about 10 am, so not sure if you would get a bus early enought to catch it, but you could stay in Kas overnight.

Ferry from Marmaris to Rhodes runs all year, a reduced service in the winter see http://www.marmarisferry.com/index_en.php

It's 2015 now - who knows what that may bring Helen. Good luck! :)

I see there is ferry to Rhodes next week from Marmaris. Does anyone know if I can get a 90 day stamp or e-visa while residents permit still valid. My permit runs out the following week before the next ferry across :(
-
Why don't you try now to get an e-visa to commence next week ? That'll answer one question.
-
have never had an e-visa before, can you date them before you want to travel or does it have to be the date you go? Sorry if these questions sound obvious to some but i'm not a seasoned traveller :(
-
You can enter any date in the next 3 months.
-
Having used the Marmaris - Rhodes ferry during the winter I would definitely go for the E visa in advance. There's also the possibility that if you don't have a valid visa when you board the ferry in Rhodes they might refuse to take you.
-
You don't HAVE to have a printed copy of the e-visa but it is wise to print one and take it with you if you can. There's always the possibility of a power-cut or computer crash at the Pasaport Polis office in Marmaris.

thankyou all for your replies, will be glad when all is sorted out one way or the other
