Anyone with a clear head be willing to help me please?
I need to fly to Exeter, well im actually going to Torquay/Paignton due to a big fat crisis. I need to go on/around/after after 9th/10th because the other crisis I am currently experiencing hasn't finished yet.
I need to take the easiest route possible please. Every time I search my head goes around in circles, im not thinking straight. I don't want loads of changes if I can help it. I know there will probably be a train journey in there too.
If it could be the most cost effective way please. Im willing to travel anywhere in Uk with a connection to Torquay.
I realise its a big ask, but If you have some time on your hands to sort through the details please.

The "easiest" route is probably DLM - IST - LHR for about £120 with Turkish Airlines. Then there is a regular coach service from Heathrow Coach Station to Brixham and Torquay Coach Station which takes around 5 hours and costs about £25 one-way.

Thank you. I will gave that a look and see. My one daughter arrived here last night to have surgery after the NHS cancelled her op yet again. My other daughter was rushed to hospital last night with stomach pains and has been diagnosed with chronic myloid leukaemia this morning. She is in the process of undergoing more tests and doesn't want me to panic! and get rushing there. I don't know what to do for the best.

There are only 2 or 3 flights from MAN to EXT each day and prices start at around £60 one-way. Then she'll have to get from EXT to Torquay.

just miss the connecting coach from stanstead, so the next coach would be 15.40 gets in about midnight. Will look at the Gatwick/heathrow one now.

So sorry to hear about both your daughter's Bernie.I have used the coach service ( national express) to and from Gatwick and so has my son coming from Stansted home, he had to change coaches at i think Victoria but it all went very smoothly and was hassle free...i do hope all will be well, xxx

What about flying direct from Antalya Bernie to maybe Bristol if they do that route...Ozgur Exger does an Antalya transfer for £30 per head one way, at least that would be one less change u would need to make re changing and waiting for flights, then maybe a coach ot train from Bristol to Exeter...

There aren't any flights between ANT and BRS. She'd either have to go via SAW and Vienna or via Izmir and Amsterdam.

My heart goes out to you with both daughters having health problems it is a nightmare for you all. .No wonder you are feeling so stressed and I will include you in my Prayers . I hope you manage to get a flight and all travel arrangements sorted .

Alans suggestion of DLM > IST > LHR then the bus is pretty solid.
The only other suggestion I can make is to fly TC from Antalya to Manchester on the 10th, leaves at 15:30 and gets in to Manchester at 17:10. There's a FlyBe flight from Manchester to Exeter that leaves at 20:30 getting in to Exeter at 21:35. If you cant get picked up, its about £45 in a taxi to Torquay - be a little more to Paignton.
You may need to play with the dates from Antalya, but the Manchester to Exeter flights seem to be three a day.

Esnaf won't operate say it's too dangerous. So she's back to Uk to see if this scheduler has rescheduled. She will rest up for a couple days. Other daughter has started tablets today, bone marrow tomorrow to assess which stage she is at. Regardless of outcome of bone marrow test,treatment will be the same.Hopefully she will respond to this tablet, spleen will shrink and blood count will reduce. Spleen currently 5times the normal size and white cells 110. Still being positive and wants me and other family to hold off flying in. Think she just needs to get her head around it. Appreciate the messages thank you x
