Title: latest rules on residency

Hi everyone,
I know that this question has been asked and answered many times before but the rules seem to regulary change.
So does anybody know a link that would explain the latest ruling as next year I am applying for residency and would like to know especially how long a period you can leave Turkey for in any
12 month period.
My plan if able to would be to spend a total of 5-6 months in Turkey on 2 seperate visits.

They have currently removed any restriction on time you can spend out of Turkey.
Who knows if that will be the same when you apply next year.
YellAli is a good resource to bookmark and check again nearer the time.
