On our flight home we were instructed to go to Gate 34 - I didn't even know there was a Gate 34.
We eventually found the gate no thanks to the airport signage.
Gate 34 is at runway level and when we got to the bottom of the escalator we weren't 100% sure that this part of the airport was actuall finished.
No air conditioning that I could detect but toilets and a small shop (5tl for a small water).
When it eventually came time for us to board we were bused I estimate one mile to where it was parked.
I had to laugh when the cabin crew announced "to avoid a late departure, we would ask that all passengers take their seats quickly".
That was pretty rich given what we had go through previously (see other posts) and the fact that some of the passengers that not be bused out and were still at the gate, approx. one mile distant.
PS the tannoy system in this part of the airport was excellent.

Well since you mention it, there was the unsavoury incident with the overhead lockers on the way out, Dalaman Duty Free and some of our fellow passengers behaviour.
But aside from those everything else was fine - I think ;) ;) ;)
