Reading about this in my newsfeed, be careful out there.

I have just copied and pasted the following:

"Warning for Sunday folks

Models are confirming the development of an intense Tropical-like cyclone / Medicane in the Ionian sea this Friday, Sept 28th. While still many uncertainties are present, high resolution models are picking up a very intense cyclone bringing even hurricane force winds into the region. Dangerous, life-threatening flash floods will also be possible."

This is the latest report I've seen and it's not known how this storm may affect Fethiye but rain and high winds should probably be expected over the weekend."

"They are predicting that it could be the worse storm that Turkey has known for decades. At the moment they are thinking Izmir down to Bodrum will possibly get the worse, but Fethiye is not ruled out. Almost Certainly a wet weekend though"

I understand that both the Calis Autumn Fair and the Dog Fest event in Calis have been postponed until next weekend due to the storm forecast.
